The meeting ends with, “We’ll follow up.”

Who is we?

One person thinks the manager will send the update. The manager thinks the project lead will do it. The project lead thinks the decision needs approval first.

By the next meeting, the item is still on the agenda.

Shared work needs coordination. Each next step also needs someone responsible for moving it forward.

Before leaving a meeting, name the action, the owner, and when the group should expect an update.

That does not mean one person does everything. It means everyone knows where the work goes next.

Could someone who missed your last meeting identify who owns each action?
